In order to look good every day, you not only need to have a well-tailored suit for work or a sophisticated styling. It's common knowledge that hygiene is a priority, but proper care is not less important. A man should go with the times and use modern ways to care about skin and hair – a razor and cologne are not enough.

So, which and how many cosmetics should a man have?

  • Cream. Not only for shaving.

Basic thing. Despite the fact that men’s skin is more resistant to external factors than women’s, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t care about it! When you choose a cosmetic, don’t focus only on the complexion that is usually nicely moisturized, but also may have problems with acne. Think about the specifics of your job. Men who work in air-conditioned offices are exposed to skin dryness. Those who work in the open require skin protection and nutrition. In turn, mechanics and factory workers need nutrition and regeneration.

Day cream is essential. But what about night stuff? Well, opinions differ. However, there’s no doubt that the skin loses much water at night and it’s good to help it keep balance. All you have to do is keeping an eye on the comsetics – don’t buy the ones with unnecessary blockers. The night is the night. You sleep and the skin works – regenerates. El Dorado!

Face of handsome young man with moisturizer applied under his eyes. The skin around the eyes is very delicate and needs special protection. It’s exposed not only to weather conditions, but also you have a great influence on it. Smiles, eye squinting, mimicry – all of this can get you wrinkles… day after day. You won’t make a mistake if you equip your cosmetic case with an anti-aging eye cream . If you start using it on a daily basis, you will prevent creating wrinkles.

Investing will pay off if you want to stay beautiful and young for long.

  • After shaving…

Foam, gel and other shaving cosmetics are products which can be found in almost every bathroom cabinet. Unfortunately, it’s not enough. After shaving, you should use disinfecting, soothing and nourishing cosmetics – alcohol free and without soap because the skin pH may go wild.

  • The body requires some interest.

Bath cosmetics shouldn’t make the epidermis dry and penetrate its protective layer. Don’t hesitate to use intimate hygiene wash lotions, feel fresh and protect yourself against irritation. Men’s body lotion won’t make you harm as well.

Hair cosmetics are another element that plays a major role. Conditioners do a solid job, but if they have a SPF filter, they additionally protect against sunlight. On the other hand, if you have a problem with going bald, it’s better to go to the chemist’s.

  • Antiperspirants and perfumes

Last but not least, the icing on the cake. Use a protective deodorant, thanks to which you will feel fresh and confident. Make sure to buy a scentless one. This way you can avoid mixing the scents with the perfume. They should characterize you.

What does your cosmetic case look like? Do you put minimum effort? Or maybe your bathroom set is much bigger?
